My Wonderful Husband

Well as you probably know by now, Aiden has arrived. I will post another blog at some point about his delivery, but this one is dedicated to Bryan.
Bryan did things for me this past week at the hospital that no one should have to do. He spent the night with me on a couch at the hospital for four nights and left only twice to come home and take a shower. Here are just a few of the things he did this week for me that I am soooo thankful for. 1. Helped me in and out of the bathroom more times than I can count. 2. Anytime I said I wanted anything or needed anything he was getting it, or getting a nurse. 3. Once I had the epidural and before they got the catheter in me he put the bed pan under me. 4. Held the trash can for me to puke in before I went in for the C section. 5. Allowed me to squeeze his hand off during the C section. 6. Helpded me in and out of the bed after Aiden was born. 7. Helped me on and off of the toilet after the C section. 8. Woke up during the night with Aiden because I could not get out of the bed. 9. Completely showered me after the C section, because I could not bend over or hardly move, but desperately wanted to feel clean. 10. Now that we are home, he is making sure that I am not over duing it and he has completely taken charge with Aiden.

This is just a list of ten things. I am amazed at the things that Bryan has done for me the past week. I have not had to worry once about being taken care of. I feel guilty for having to rely on him so much, but I also know that I physically I couldn't do it on my own. Yes, he could have gotten a nurse to do most of these things, but he didn't. I have the best husband in the world and Aiden has the best daddy in the world. I owe him more than I can ever repay. I love you Bryan!!!!
